hello list,

after some time away from lilypond, i'm back...

the occasion: a friend will be publishing a book soon, and i volunteered
to prepare the (short) musical examples.

my problem: the publisher requires the graphics in eps, but when imported
into the DTP program they use, the eps files generated by lilypond lack
all the music glyphs (the same happens using inkscape). i've been able to
overcome this problem somehow using the svg output, and then converting to
eps with inkscape. what's the difference between the eps files as generated
by lilypond, and those converted by inkscape from the svg output? is it
possible to create directly with lilypond eps files that can be imported
into another application, like inkscape or a DTP program?

thanks,

lj
