Same here. The PDF is definitely in the same folder.

Actually, my guess about the timestamps may be right. "ls -l --full-time" shows 
me that the timestamp of an ly file whose PDF fails to open is 
17:47:21.162455340, while the PDF is about 9 seconds earlier at 
17:47:12.566455435.

ls -l --full-time middle-fast-1c.*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 dlm dlm  10671 2012-08-19 17:47:21.162455340 +0800 
middle-fast-1c.ly
-rw-rw-r-- 1 dlm dlm 543574 2012-08-19 17:47:12.566455435 +0800 
middle-fast-1c.pdf

But, if I look at a different ly where the PDF does open, its timestamp is a 
few minutes earlier than the PDF.

I suppose I should just log this @ github, then.
