delete \set stanza from \score { ... } and put it in the lyrics:
lyrica = \lyricmode {
\set stanza = #"1. "
... }
or
(2)
use brackets:
new Lyrics = "one" \lyricsto "song" { \set stanza = #"1. " \lyrica }
