Thanks Pierre! BTW, I found this snippet: http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Item?id=409 where arrows (\strokeUp and \strokeDown) are defined by \postscript commands (instead of UTF-8 characters) more difficult and more flexible... I think I'll add an example in the LSR (specific for flatpicking guitar)
