you have two possibilities:
first:
you have a partial upbeat, so you also have a partial first repeat bar. use
the \set Timing.measurePosition in the first alternative like this:
<<<
\relative c'' {
\time 3/4
\set Timing.measurePosition = #(ly:make-moment -5/16)
\repeat volta 2 {
e16 e8. e16 | e4 e e }
\alternative {
{
\set Timing.measurePosition = #(ly:make-moment -7/16)
e4 r8.
}
{
e4 r8
\key ees \minor
bes8 [ ges ees ] |
}
}
d4 d d |
}
>>>
however, you then have a key change in the middle of the second
alternative. this is ugly. a more "correct" way of notating your example,
avoiding partial bars after the first bar:
<<<
\relative c'' {
\time 3/4
\set Timing.measurePosition = #(ly:make-moment -5/16)
e16 e8. e16 |
\repeat volta 2 {
e4 e e
}
\alternative {
{ e4 r8. e16 e8. e16 | }
{ e4 r8 }
}
bes8 [ ges ees ] |
\key ees \minor
d4 d d |
}
>>>
