This is the moment when i need your help and involvement. Writing the patch took me 15 minutes, but there are doubts whether to accept it in the current state. It needs to be discussed, pros and cons need to be examined and maybe a compromise found. Doing all this - getting the patch through review process - would take me an hour or two (much more than writing the patch itself!), and is a distraction from my other (paid) work on LilyPond.
