I think it is both. I installed a "user font" (that was from the source) and that appeared on the user level... but the system had a font called "Linux Libertine G" which is native to LibreOffice (the WYSIWYG I use for docs). > is "Linux >Libertine G" above a typo or really what you have in your score? "Linux Libertine G" is the name of the font. I've used it in typesetting .ly things on my Windows machine... and I think the "G" stands for "Graphite" which is a typesetting feature of LibreOffice's kerning and advanced typesetting features in the typesetting toolbar. LLG is what comes with LibreOffice.
