You will probably need to use PostScript. http://www.lilypond.org/doc/v2.18/Documentation/notation/ formatting-text#graphic-notation-inside-markup Then those markings that have no certain interpretation are not input as musical glyphs that have an intended interpretaion, but as lines and curves.
