Hello all,

I'm struggling to output IPA characters as part of lyrics for a singing
exercise;
this example (UTF-8 encoding):
: <<
: \relative c' { f }
: \addlyrics { ɔ }
: >>
produces the warning
: no PostScript font name for font `/usr/share/fonts/100dpi/ncenR24.pcf.gz'
: FreeType face has no PostScript font name
from the lilypond compiler. The resulting output has the character (LATIN SMALL
LETTER OPEN O (U+0254)) omitted. I guess part of the typesetting process
(Pango?)
is failing to find an appropriate glyph? Any tips to debug from here? I am using
lilypond 2.18.2 on Arch Linux.

Kind Regards,
Oliver
