I would say: yes. I use a variety of staff sizes, usually between 16 and 20. Especially for songs and choir scores 20 is a bit too large, imo. Just for me to get it right: Is it possible to change the set-global-fonts function such that it does not need to call the factor function explicitly (because it uses it by default)? Or is this thread about always writing it in the examples because you need it for all staff sizes except 20?
