The promised optimization - perhaps re-using existing structure to do
its work - is a potential one: whether it's able to get any depends very
much on what you feed it with (and there's your 'not guaranteed' i
guess).
Iow. better treat all these as glowing iron, make sure you put a good
handle on them and store in secure places.
