I'm sending this email for several reasons. The first is to inform you all on what's happening (as I won't attnd Shlomi's lecture today, sorry, need to go to Tel Aviv quite urgently). The second is call for help (RFH actually).
We have set that the lecture is going to contain the following subjects: A) 20-min tops into. to Linux (including - History, Development, Current status. current status is the most interesting for them). B) From Power-On to Login: (the remaining 80 minutes). This will include the technical asspects of rebooting a system, including the boot straping program (code will be presented). So, if anyone (guy?) has some slides in that subjects (again, guy?), and wishes to help me to pack it all nicely (till 10/6), feel free to contact me privately, and send some inputs.
