It seems that the problems with http browsing turned out to be yet another
stupid bug in my driver's segmentation function. After fixing this, the
browsing experience improved to a level that I see no reason
against releasing the driver.
The minor code cleanup and all the other stuff will be delayed until
tomorrow, tonight...time to get drunk ;-).
Thanks a lot for the offers for hosting my driver. I will contact you as
soon as I release the software. I really want my software to be accessible
to anyone wanting to use it.
What I really need in the next future is testers. Since the driver has
been developed through reverse engineering, I am not sure whether it will
work with somebody else's modem. Maybe part of what I considered to be
`firmware' was actually device dependedent.
