I spotted it on Rick Moen's site who contacted me recently regarding a different matter altogether. I did not read it fromt op to bottom, but it seems quite enlightening and instructive. Without opening a mouth to the Devil, I believe that Haifux followed most of the guidelines there. Those who wish to start other successful user-groups or communities should probably read this document, because I found it quite sensible. OTOH, there may be some things we are doing which are sub-optimal, so I recommend us reading it anyway. Regards, Shlomi Fish Note to Muli: while Moen refers to "Linux User Group" I think he actually refers to any sort of computer club. Haifux is still not a LUG!! ;-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Shlomi Fish [EMAIL PROTECTED] Home Page: http://t2.technion.ac.il/~shlomif/ He who re-invents the wheel, understands much better how a wheel works. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Haifa Linux Club Mailing List (http://www.haifux.org) To unsub send an empty message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
