Changing this preferred email address gives an error. I tried reporting
the issue to 'Login Support' several months ago but never heard back.

The registration form still has my old email address, even after
changing my address in the profile page. (I've double checked by logging
out/in, shutting down my browser, and updating email address a second
time.)
