This fails to build for vexpress because the Samsung Mali topic defaults to enabling Mali and UMP, they should probably default to being disabled and the Origen defconfig should enable them. After editing drivers/gpu/arm/mali/Kconfig to make config MALI400MP 'default n', and similar with config UMP in drivers/gpu/arm/ump/Kconfig then things build OK.
