Have you tried to run our binaries from our release first, to make sure your setup is correct? Then, when you know the setup is correct, build your own kernel and see what happens. RTSM_terminal_0 may not display because the kernel is crashing and has not started the console output yet. There are many reasons for this, like using a wrong kernel binary, using the wrong device tree, etc...
