Linaro is not a distro ;-) Although it does put out quite a lot of
images. Did you have a particular one in mind?

Here is a page on installing Debian which may be helpful (I know nothing of the 
Utilite)

It may well have got rather easier since that was written. Other imx6
boards are somewhat supported in jessie, although most seem to need a custom
kernel: https://boundarydevices.com/debian-installer-on-i-mx6/
