Hi, for the last two month or so we have passed on the headlines for our monthly release to our PR folks. Recently we discussed what engineering can do to better support them in their mission and found that right now our headlines don't give them enough background and detail to make a PR effort.
To help them we have been given a PR form to us to write up our most important highlights. This form is supposed to help us better understanding what type of release highlights might be suitable for PR. Can you try talk with your teams and TLs during your next sync if there is anything that we could highlight this way for the upcoming release(s) and let me know how that goes? Here the form ... What makes them special? • Why is each a highlight for the developer community? • What does it mean for device development? How will it eventually benefit businesses/consumers? • Is there someone we can speak to about each of these developments who can explain why they were a focus, what they have enabled and what will come next? • What makes this interesting for journalists and analysts? The consumer? • What makes this interesting industry news? What hot topic in the industry does this address? Who will care? Why will they care? • OK, feel free to share this with your TLs during your next sync and provide feedback.
