I have recently installed a plugin in JIRA which is called Structure - details for it in [1-3] below. The short story is: this plugin allows the creation of any-depth hierarchies of issues (aka structures). Such hierarchies can be used to visualise cards in a hierarchy starting with Epic cards, and breaking them down into subcards and so on. One good thing is the ability to share these structures with others, and you can also visualise the position of a card in a hierarchy when viewing the card's details. I have already done a short pilot of this plugin more, and heard no negative feedback so I decided to open its access to the Linaro's TLs and PMs. I would still think this opening as a "more extensive pilot" rather than the normal status - we can customise the way Structure is used to our need. In particular I am interested in receiving your feedback on - possible hierarchies amongst the cards which you handle now (point me to the Epic cards and which cards those Epics compose of and I can help create the structures for you) - the fields that you would want to see in visualizing structures - ie the column headings. Some structures i created so far are in [4], [5] and [6]. All feedback is appreciated, please check the appended links for more documentation.
