I doubt Android would see it, because it doesn't know that it's the
'sdcard' without some device configuration files not present on Juno
builds.

I was also going to say that I'm not sure you can install Apps on
'external' media anyway, but typing 'adb help' shows that 'adb install'
has a -s option which "means install on SD card instead of internal
storage".
