"The Quick Start Guide to the GIMP, Part 1" is the title of the article by Michael J. Hammel, on page 14 of the November 1997 issue 43 of Linux Journal! "The first of a four-part series introduces us to the GIMP, a Linux power tool for the graphics artist." There is also an article about "Streaming Audio in Linux" on page 28. "Sound Through the PC-Speaker" on page 52. "YODL or Yet Oneother Document Language" on page 86: "Would you like to publish the texts you write in more than one format--PostScript for printing, plain ASCII for e-mail, and HTML, for the a web page? YODL could be just the language you need." This looks like one helluvan issue! <grin> -- Kenneth W.
