As everyone probably knows, there is now a Debian book
available for free download or purchase at:
http://www.linuxpress.com/
I am in the process of reading the book, and am so far,
very impressed. I am hoping that the book will give me
a handle on dselect, and other arcane aspects of Debian.
I have always felt that Debian was a professional Linux
distribution, more suited towards a user who was well
versed in setting up and administering a Linux system.
Hopefully, the Debian book will make it more accessible
to the regular user? If so, then Debian would be the
best choice for making a "value-added" Linux distribution,
simply because it is totally, trully FREE.

The best thing about Linux is the people who use it!!!
