Which version do you have? 0.5x seemed to crash enough, but the newest 0.99x seems to have a lot of the bugs ironed out. > I'm looking for an interesting painting program, a la the fractal > design products. Have you tried all the GIMP plugins that are out there? There's a plugin for just about anything, but speaking of fractal design I'd like to see more fractal-inspired paint routines. There was a win311 app a while back called "fracpaint" that was kind of interesting: you'd draw a basic shape with a drawing tool (looked like xfig) and it'd do a number of fractal iterations on it, and allowed for fractal fills. Another program to look at is ImageMagick. I haven't played with it much but it's along the GIMP vein. While on the painting subject, is there anything like Adobe Streamline? I would like to scan an image and have it traced and be able to export the trace information to a PostScript file.
