I'm very happy to hear that my preferred vector environment is being ported. 
I know it's cheating, but CorelDRAW is an excellent and mature package, and
on top of that, I do this for money so I may have to wait on those (very promising)
GPL packages until one or more of them is mature. I peeked at Sketch, and the
images there were quite impressive. I will definitely check them all out in full
when I have a little more time.
