Couple Questions about Recording.

Does anyone know of a standalone app to monitor
line-in/mike recording levels, or a mixer with this
feature?  Using grecord, but it can be a few trials to
figure out how the input gain should have been set.

Next, how to rerecord a wav at a different pitch,
like 80% of normal speed?
