I appreciate this conversation because the affordability of healthy food is
an important topic. I want to point out that other local farms such as
Drumlin
<https://www.massaudubon.org/get-outdoors/wildlife-sanctuaries/drumlin-farm/csa-farming/find-produce>
(they
accept for CSA shares also) and the Food Project
<https://thefoodproject.org/csa/>accept SNAP benefits in order to include
more folks. I did not see that information on the Codman website, but it
could be a more inclusive alternative. While certainly true for many, I
also do not think it is universal that Lincoln residents are able to afford
Codman Store pricing. This is in part evidenced by the extraordinary and
rising numbers at the local food bank operated by St. Julia as well as what
I have heard anecdotally.

I think this is a worthwhile conversation and hope it continues because
there is a lot to be learned in having it! Thank you to those who have
shared. :)

Very best,
Alexis
