Keith Gilbert and Stacy Osur are moving. Lincoln’s loss will be the Berkshires gain.
For years, Keith has worn many different hats in town, including the tricorne. His has lent his distinctive voice to many endeavors. It will be sorely missed, especially at the Winter Carnival Coffee House. Every community is a quilt made up of pieces of fabric. Some in each town are essential weavers of that fabric. Stacy is one. Stacy….that force of nature who has built not just a fabulous emporium at the Old Town Hall Exchange, but a real community She made the OTHE an essential stop for any who were looking for a special something, or for kids to learn to count change…and for others to just drop in to catch up on what was happening. Chairs to sit in the PO offered an opportunity to pause, to have an unplanned social encounter that are so critical for strengthening ties. It’s these little things that bind us. And, Stacy built a strong community of volunteers of all ages, from all parts of town. Those who worked at the Exchange offered the rest of us a chance visit, to reacquaint, to meet new folks. If Stacy was there, she always made sure we all were introduced to each other…weaving that fabric. Stacy, Keith, you will be missed. Many, many thanks for the contributions you have made to our community. So, this is my fond farewell, Sara -- The LincolnTalk mailing list. To post, send mail to [email protected].
