The School Committee would like to thank Trintje Gnazzo for her three year's
service on the Lincoln School Committee. During that time she helped negotiate
the current contract with the Lincoln Educator's Association and has taken a
lead on behalf of the School Committee regarding work our district is doing to
become an Anti-Racist District.

The Lincoln School Committee is seeking applicants to fill the remainder of her
term until annual Town elections in March 2022. The committee invites and
encourages any town resident who is registered to vote in Lincoln with an
interest in helping the Lincoln Public Schools achieve their strategic
priorities to submit a short statement of interest. The statement of interest
should be submitted by August 9, 2021 to [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>.

All interested candidates will be interviewed in an open meeting of the School
Committee and Select Board. Depending on availability, interviews are
tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 12 at 7:00pm via Zoom. The current
members will vote at that meeting to select one of the candidates to serve on
the School Committee as an interim member. The person so selected will fill the
seat on the School Committee until the next Annual Town election, at which time
the interim member can choose to run for the open three-year term. Questions
may be directed to School Committee Chair Tara Mitchell at
[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
