The Swap Shed at the transfer station is looking for donations of some shelves
( plastic or wire preferably, but wood is OK) and a couple of tables. They
need to be sturdy, but do not need to be in good condition.
The success of the newly imagined Swap Shed with an emphasis on Zero Waste is a
community effort and we appreciate everyone who volunteers/ donates/comes by to
"shop" with their children. But as we are no longer throwing items out at the
end of each day, we do need to work a little harder at keeping it organized and
not overflowing. Extra shelving and tables will help us in this. So please
reach out and we can arrange pick up/drop off.
