Colleen, it's not particularly difficult to do it yourself - if you have a DVD drive that plugs into your computer. (If you do not, you can get one for $20 from Amazon or Best Buy.)
I recommend using VLC Player, a free, open-source piece of video (and audio) player. I've been using it for over a decade now. The process is pretty straightforward; any high schooler - or middle schooler, really -- can walk through it with you. See, e.g., https://www.wikihow.com/Rip-DVD-Audio-to-MP3-Using-VLC-Media-Player and https://whooshtranscription.com/how-to-extract-audio-from-a-dvd-using-vlc-media-player/ An external drive from Amazon, brand doesn't matter: https://www.amazon.com/External-CD-DVD-Drive-Compatible/dp/B07MJW5BXZ HTH, --Dennis -----Original Message----- From: Lincoln <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Colleen Katsuki Sent: Sunday, October 3, 2021 1:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LincolnTalk] dvds to cds Does anybody know where I can get the audio portion of some DVDs converted in to CDs?
