Stop by the Lincoln Mall this Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to learn more about how you can reduce your carbon footprint, push for statewide action on climate change, and support pre-school education for the children of refugees from South Sudan.
South Sudanese Enrichment for Families (SSEF; www.ssefboston.org) will be there, selling daffodil bulbs to support the above program. Lincoln Mothers Out Front will be there, with information on their efforts to push for “clean heat” statewide and other actions to mitigate climate change. Volunteers from the Lincoln Green Energy Committee will be there, with information on how you can get 100% renewable electricity, improved energy efficiency for your home, solar panels, and/or an electric vehicle. Exact location at the Mall (145 Lincoln Road) will depend on the weather. Hope to see you there!
