Greetings fellow Lincolnites!

It’s getting colder and the Parks and Rec Department is looking for volunteers
to join the ice Rink Subcommittee.

Last year we had a great group of folks who helped build the rink, maintain the
ice throughout the season then help close it down once the ice melted. Do you
or your family want to use the ice rink this year? Consider volunteering to
help make the rink a reality. We can’t have the rink without volunteers helping
out.

The rink this year will be a bit bigger than last year; 40’ x 80’ instead of
30’ x 60’ and it will be in front of Pierce House instead of behind Town
Office. Parking will be in the lot behind the Pierce House. We are aiming to
fill the rink mid-December and expect the ice to stay frozen through mid-March.
Any help is appreciated. More details, including ice rules will be coming out
closer to our expected opening date.

Skates can be sharpened at Zwicker’s <https://zwickers.com/> in Bedford or
Tricon Sports <https://www.tricon-retail.com/> in Lexington.

Please let Rob Stringer [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]> know if you want to learn more about being a
part of the Rink sub-committee. We’ll have our first meeting before the end of
November.

Thank you for considering it and I hope to see you on the ice.

Cheers,

Rob Stringer
Rink Subcommittee
