I have to chime in with a caution about Piece by Piece Movers as well. My move was furniture only, no boxes and a very straightforward move. No damage other than carelessness in the form of tape stuck to wood leaving a residue. However, I also felt that the service was very poor and over-priced with no follow-up whatsoever. The move was four years ago, so it would seem that they haven't improved over time.

Piece by Piece also really disappointed me. In the estimate they said they were going to wrap my furniture, but they didn’t, and they scratched it up. Then they said I hadn’t gotten insurance to cover any damage by the movers. They sent a much too small truck and then took tons of time trying to puzzle everything in. They broke mirrors, they scratched hand-made woodwork, they dropped a piece of sculpture after I had told them how to lift it. Their claims process was long, and I was refused. I fought it out with them, and eventually they refunded me for some of the extra time they had charged, but not the damage.
