What was life like for parents and children in 18th century Lincoln? When every man had to have the soldier's equipment and skills. When every woman had to feed, clothe, and cure the illnesses of her family. When children had to do their school lessons with quill pen, and still have time for games. When adults and children made their own music for entertainment.
Come join the Lincoln Minute Men and the Middlesex County 4-H Fife and Drum at Bemis Hall on Sunday (February 6) from Noon to 2 PM. View and ask questions about clothing, food, and flags. Play with 18th century era toys. Try marching. Outside there will be music and firing demonstrations.
