Is it okay to leave used/filled bags along our trails? I have always assumed the purpose of DPBs was to clean up after our beloved canine companions AND then carry the DPBs with us off the trail to the nearest trash receptacle.
But perhaps I've been wrong all these years? Because I find used DPBs out on the trails with some frequency, even in these frigid temps. Can anyone enlighten me on DBP best practices?
