I only receive the digest, so I apologize if I am writing in with redundant
information.

Leaving dog poop behind, in or out of bags, is not only a breach of common
etiquette. It is damaging to the environment. Dog feces contain nutrients
and pathogens that can harm humans and animals, and eventually make their
way into the water.

Being able to walk and hike with our dogs off leash is such a pleasure and
privilege. Please pay attention to what your pets are doing, and clean up
after them.
