Hello everybody I’m interested to know from people here in Lincoln land who may have any experience personally or vicariously with surgery for a deviated septum. It’s been recommended to me by an ENT but I am cautiously approaching it through research and hearing peoples experience with it. And, actually, I have a double problem where the lower turbinates in both nostrils are enlarged and overgrown and would require something called a turbinectomy in addition to the surgery to fix the deviated septum. Even though it’s a one day procedure, the recovery sounds pretty awful and scary. For anyone who’s had it done or knows someone who’s had it done, I’d like to know whether it really significantly improved your quality of life and ability to breathe and fully oxygenate that made the surgery totally worth it.
