I will add one note about induction stoves: Many articles about them describe how much easier it is to install an induction cooktop compared to gas if you do not already have gas supplied to your kitchen. *However,* induction cooktops may need a new high current electric circuit run to your kitchen if it does not already have one. (Usually easier than running a gas line, though.)
