I would say Milk Snake.
If you look closely, there is NO rattle and he has a nice round head which 
usually means no poison sacs and non-venomous. 
He’s beautiful!

I’ve done just the briefest bit of research and it looks like a Timber snake to 
me. I hope I’m wrong because they are highly venomous. I believe it’s living in 
a hollowed out tree trunk.
I’d also like suggestions about whom to call to do a catch and release if it 
comes to that. 
Any help will be much appreciated!
