Worship * This Sunday, April 10th at 10 a.m. student minister, Sarah Klockowski, will lead worship and officiate communion. Links to register to join worship in-person in the Sanctuary or to join us via Zoom can be found on the website<https://www.fplincoln.org/>.
Religious Exploration * Children will gather at 9:30 a.m. outside the Sanctuary (4 Bedford Road) to help hand palms to member and guests. Our Sunday School of Magic and Mystery will consider how Jesus was hosanna'ed into Jerusalem and Harry was, at first, a celebrity at Hogwarts. People's feelings changed when Jesus and Harry started pointing out some uncomfortable truths. We'll plant sunflowers - who always turn their faces to the light (of truth). Beyond Sunday (details and links available on the FPLincoln website<https://www.fplincoln.org/>) * Frist Parish in Lincoln offers many ways to be connected beyond Sunday. Please see the website calendar for details about Coffee with the Minister, classes like Sacred Texts: From Jesus to Christ, Quiet Walks in and around Lincoln, Weekly Meditation - and more. For Holy Week * Sunday, April 10th - Palm Sunday details above * Friday, April 15th, 7 p.m. – Good Friday (in person and online) Join us for a Good Friday service remembering the final hours of Jesus’s life, featuring special music from our FPL Choir and Sarah Yanovitch, a frequent soloist with Boston’s Handel and Hayden Society. Through readings and reflection on the passion narrative we will bear witness to the suffering of our world today and consider how we might live into resurrection when Easter still seems a long way off. * Sunday, April 17th, 6 a.m. – Sunrise Service (Flint’s Field) As has been done for many years, we’ll gather on Flint Field (off Old Lexington Road) for the Easter Sunrise service. Sarah will lead this short service, which includes prayer, readings, a reflection, and music. Join us as we greet this Easter morning with gladness with this beloved FPL tradition. Humanity and dogmanity welcome! * Sunday, April 17th, 10 a.m. Easter (in person and online) Lilies, trumpets, singing those familiar Easter hymns together! There are new things coming to life within this community, and new hope being born. Be part of the celebration! Online registration required. Margit Griffith, M.Ed.
