The food pantry is facing extraordinary expenses! Our costs, like yours,
have skyrocketed and the availability for healthy foods is markedly
reduced. At this time of year, before the local crops come in, we are
forced to buy our fruits and vegetables at our supermarkets and this
puts a *huge
*dent in our bank balance. These healthy foods are imperative for our many
families.

Our families are facing challenging times with costs being prohibitive. We
need to be responsible for helping to provide healthy foods so that the
money they have can pay their ever-increasing bills, like gas!

Our next food distributions are on April 27 and 28. Please consider
supporting us at this crucial time by donating some of the following items:

Spaghetti sauce
Cereals
Gluten Free items (we really need these)
Condiments such as salad dressings, mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, oils,
vinegar
Laundry detergent
Granola bars
Taco kits
Lactose free shelf milk

Donations can be left in the BLUE containers on the porch of St. Joseph
House, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln. Make sure the items have expiration dates
that assure they are current.

And of course, monetary donations are always gratefully received! Kindly
send your check to SVDP, P. O. Box 324, Lincoln, MA 01773. (Supermarket
gift cards are always welcome too).

Thank you for your generosity, We truly are "neighbors helping neighbors".

More important news here...remember to save the date for our first
concert/fundraiser on Tuesday May 24 at 6:00 pm at Pierce Park. This is a
wonderful event you will not want to miss!

Karen Boyce, Chair, Lincoln Food Pantry.
