Nope-and certainly not on that roadway…not feasible and would not address the danger to vehicles and bikes. Having the PB, in the permitting process, require contractors to designate an approved off-road parking site would improve the situation. Also, the Building Inspector, under the direction of the PB, might occasionally monitor projects of a duration over a certain time frame, say 1 month.
This has been dangerous for vehicles, bikes and pedestrians for months and months and months…it is mostly vehicles and bikes that are in the most danger. ------ Sara Mattes > On Apr 29, 2022, at 7:50 PM, Rich Rosenbaum <[email protected]> wrote: > > Sidewalks (aka roadside paths) would improve the situation. > > On Fri, Apr 29, 2022, 4:45 PM Sara Mattes <[email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > Agreed. > Those of us living in the area, experience the danger on a regular basis. > The PB needs to establish an area for parking of vehicles when issuing > permits…and, a time frame that is publicly posted so when we know when the > end is in sight! > It is not fair that the new homeowner may get a less than rousing welcome > when they move in due to the actions of the contractor. > If we do not have PB regs to avoid this type of situation, we should! > > Sara > ------ > Sara Mattes > > > > >> On Apr 29, 2022, at 1:30 PM, Carol Ryan <[email protected] >> <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: >> >> The intersection of Silverhill and Weston roads is somewhat dangerous.
