I wouldn’t say packed. I was there. It was pretty full, but not packed (so if Rhode Island residents were bussed in it inflated the numbers considerably) The Lincolnites I spoke with said they were there to speak up and question these folks There seems to be a great deal of secrecy surrounding them (One woman who spoke refuses to share her last name because ’there might be agitators'… however on the back of the flyer they listed ways to “get involved”) In some, it seems closer to Qanon than to hardcore Republican/rightwing Captain James Tesauro talked about how he wasn’t supporting either Republicans OR Democrats — the whole system is corrupt according to him There were lots of statements about how we should question what THEY (the established government) are doing to us…. And we should infiltrate…run for office, get involved, get out there and help take our country back …. etc. AND they seemed like genuinely nice people who were dedicated to their cause.
I’m still collecting my thoughts this morning. It was a lot to take in. I’m interested to hear from others who were there… Best/Kathy > On May 6, 2022, at 7:35 AM, Joanna Owen Schmergel via Lincoln > <[email protected]> wrote: > > I heard secondhand that it was packed and that a busload of folks arrived > from Rhode Island to attend. > > I also heard that Tom Risser spoke at the event. > > Apparently there were a number of Lincolnites there to support the event. > > This flyer was distributed: > > <IMG_7647.JPG> > > > > > > > Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone <https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/?.src=iOS> > > On Friday, May 6, 2022, 7:15 AM, Louis Zipes <[email protected]> wrote: > > So was the election ‘problem’ solved yesterday evening?
