I am so sorry, Sally. I can't even imagine the sadness. I can attest to coyotes being everywhere. I came into close range of them twice a couple of weeks ago. Once on the Pond side of Sandy Pond Road, on the trail that goes around the pond, and once on the other side, on the Pine Hill trail. They crossed right in front of me about 20 feet away. They were running at full speed. It was terrifying. The first one didn't even see me. It was very large and a brindle coloring with long legs. The other was smaller and looked more like a traditional wolf. It caught sight of us and turned around. My dog is 65 pounds but I wouldn't want her to be chased by one!
Take care out there. Linda On Sat, May 7, 2022, 9:26 AM sally kindleberger <[email protected]> wrote: > It was probably a coyote!
