On Tuesday morning, members of the Garden Club, the Lincoln Conservation
Department, and the Lincoln Land Conservation Trust, gathered to dedicate a new
granite bench on Beaver Pond. Katherine Preston and Annie Knowlton, whose
parents donated the land where the bench is sited to the LLCT (Jean Woods
Preston), were also in attendance.

The bench was funded by the Lincoln Garden Club and installed by the
Conservation Department. LGC members, Kim Buell and Nancy Henderson chose the
granite pieces and designed the plaque.

Nancy and Kim also provided delicious treats to reward our walk through the
woods! Our thanks to them and to all who made this possible.

Please be sure to take a walk to this beautiful spot.
