Lincolntalkians, In response to privacy concerns voiced by several users of this list, I have caused Google and Bing to remove all Lincolntalk archive posts from their search indexes, and have made it impossible to view the archives without a list membership.
I do not know of any way, short of changing to a different service provider and mailing list system, to provide a private search index on our archive. If you are still able to find Lincolntalk messages via some search engine, please let me know, and I'll do whatever I can to expurgate them. As a reminder, once you've sent a message to the list, the message is mailed to all list members, at which point there is no way for you to remove that message from their email inboxes. You cannot "unpost" or "remove" a message once sent. -- Jonathan Feinberg [email protected] http://MrFeinberg.com/ <http://mrfeinberg.com/>
