This morning Lincoln Public Schools have received a number of reported staff COVID cases. This is especially impacting classroom teachers, custodial and food services staff.
We have communicated to all employees that we highly recommend that all employees return to wearing masks indoors. We also strongly recommend that families make decisions about having their children wear a mask at school this week. We will keep you informed if our case numbers go down or continue to rise. We are working hard to keep our schools staffed and open. It is possible that we may have staffing issues in the coming days that we will need to respond to. You can help with this by keeping your child home if they are symptomatic and by considering having your child wear a mask while indoors at school. At this time there is no change to the mask policy. The Town Public Health Team meets tomorrow, and we will review our data in order to make timely decisions about our masking recommendations or requirements. Thank you for your support and assistance. Becky McFall, Superintendent Lincoln Public Schools
