I highly recommend Pesky Pete's Poison Ivy Control. He physically pulls out--roots and all--the poison ivy (wearing full protections) and hauls it away for disposal. Then, he'll return at no charge later if any reappears or just to do a scan for it.
Unfortunately, he is usually scheduled several months out, so he may not be available to immediately solve your problem.
