I'm writing to inform you that Hanscom Field is expecting a significant
increase in general aviation aircraft this June, in support of the US Open
Championship golf tournament to be held June 13-19, 2022 at The Country Club in
Brookline, MA.

We do expect a considerable increase in jet aircraft activity, as well as
parked aircraft, which will be on our East and West ramps. Based on experience
from other host airports, we expect increased aircraft operations to begin 1-2
weeks prior to the tournament, and continue throughout, with a wind down the
week after. This roughly translates to June 3 through June 21. This
information is estimated, based on operations statistics from other host
airports.

Massport expects that there will be an increase in motor vehicles at the
airport as well, utilizing Hanscom Drive, during this period.

We will provide more information as it becomes available to us.

Thank you.

Keith Leonhardt
Manager, Airport Operations and Maintenance
